Classic Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

1 c
Butter
1 c
milk (whole or 2%)
1 lb
powdered sugar
3 T
vanilla extract

Directions

1. Leave butter out to soften, then mix with milk and vanilla, using electric mixer.
2. Begin slowly adding powdered sugar, a half cup or so at a time.
3. Beat until consistency is light and even and will peak when a spoon is put in it.
4. Use to frost a cake or cupcakes; can put in a piping bag for a decorative finish!
