Avocado-Chipotle Compound Butter

Butter, salted, softened
1⁄2 U
avocado, pitted, peeled, cut into chunks
2 T
chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
2 clv
garlic, minced
2 T
cilantro, chopped
1 T
lime juice, fresh
1 t
Worcestershire sauce
1 t
cumin, ground
1⁄2 t
chili powder


Combine all ingredients in a food processor until well combined. Spoon butter into a crock, cover with plastic wrap and chill for about 45 minutes or until firm.

Optional storing and serving
Roll into a log, using edge of baking sheet to form a tight log. Chill for 2 hours before serving.
