Ingredients

butter, unsalted, softened
8 clv
garlic, finely chopped
2 U
shallots, small, chopped
1⁄4 c
lemon juice, fresh
1 U
lemon, zest
1⁄4 c
parsley, fresh, chopped
  ds
cayenne pepper
1 t
salt
1 t
pepper
1⁄2 t
nutmeg, fresh

Directions

In a food processor, combine butter, garlic, and shallots and mix until well combined. Add lemon juice and zest and continue mixing. Remove from food processor and place butter mixture in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until well combined. Shape into a log using parchment or wax paper. Refrigerate until firm (about 2 hours), slice into rounds as needed or transfer to plastic wrap to store.
