8 ounce packages cream cheese

garlic salt

bricks (1-1/2 pounds) sharp Cheddar cheese grated
1⁄2 cn
beer (do not use lite; may use nonalcoholic)

Worcestershire sauce


Soften cream cheese; add grated cheese and garlic salt. Pour in beer a bit at a time. As you add the beer, the mixture will bubble and look grayish. Add Worcestershire sauce. The consistency may be a bit runny but will set up overnight in the fridge. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with pumpernickel crackers, hardened bread squares, or big beer pretzels. 5 cups.
